HSEP Program & Council
The High School for Engineering Professions (HSEP) is a unique program focused on educating students in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), with a specific focus on the principles of engineering.
A diverse group of professions voluntarily serve on the Advisory Council and oversee the HSEP program. The Council is driven by the belief that the program can and will, become a vital source of local engineering talent.
The HSEP Program at Scotlandville Magnet High School has been recognized as a Distingushed Academy by The National Academy Foundation (NAF) for four consecutive years. This recognition makes Scotlandville's Academy of Engineering one of six schools in the United States identified as a Distinguished Academy of Engineering.
